After graduating from Bloomfield in 1977, Tim continued onto college where he received a degree from Morrisville State College. Tim is a licensed musical instrument repairman. Tim is a musician himself in which he plays bass in a jazz duo and folk trio along with electric guitar, fiddle, and mandolin in another bands.
Tim and his wife Denise have grown the business substantially over the years, committed to and supporting music in the community. As long time supporters of anything Musical whether it be from the school Music programs, to the 1000's of students that have passed through the business doors or Sponsoring Local concerts it still gives us a thrill to see budding musicians from all ages develop and enjoy a musical instrument.
Tim started his business in the back of van with a work bench and would travel to different clients to repair instruments and tune pianos. A few years later, Tim and his wife decided to settle down and open a full line music store and also provide music lessons of all instruments to hundreds of students for all ages. Over 34 years of business, Mobile Music is still located in downtown Canandaigua, where it continues to grows.
